A message from the

We are very pleased to share our most recent annual report with our staff, partners, donors, and community.  Our resiliency as an organization continues to shine bright, as we know our incredibly passionate staff continue to focus on what really fosters our work – doing everything possible to improve the lives of youth and young families who seek our help.

We have had another successful year within all our programs – from providing mental health services, to advancing housing supports, to launching a new social enterprise with new training and education opportunities, we are so proud of this year’s accomplishments. We continued to make a substantial shift to prevention-based initiatives as we work towards ending youth homelessness in our community. Although it is always difficult to sum up the accomplishments of an entire year in a few short words, the impact of our work is clear. A significant part of our organizational commitment continues to be centred around how we deliver supports and services to vulnerable youth in the most impactful way possible; In addition to all our programs and services, we have also continued a path towards organizational accountability by building data and evaluation systems that help us understand and articulate the value of our work.

We are proud of all our staff  who continuously drive not only truly impactful work each and every day, but whose work is the foundation of our advocacy within our community on systemic change that meets the needs of youth and young families in the long-term. Here at Choices for Youth, advocacy is first and foremost – understood to be an organizational responsibility, to our youth, families, community, and province.

We wish to express our deepest appreciation for our multitude of partners who make the work we do possible through a wide range of supports to our organization. From all levels of government, philanthropic partners, and individuals in our community, we thank you for seeing the value of what we do and sharing a common goal of improving the lives of youth and young families.
